Chicken update and me rambling about clothes for awhile ;)

Just thought I'd give you a little update on the chicken because I'm that interesting and then finishing with a bit of Neon dreaming (fashion loves update)! So it ended up in some soup (currently residing in my freezer and awaiting consumption at some point next week), my nommy creamy cheesy pasta speciality (pasta, onions, sauce made from single cream and the cheese of your choice and then whatever meat and veg you might fancy), and a couple of rounds of sandwiches (possibly the best use, especially with lovely Warburtons bread O_O). I also just ate some... especially the funky crispy bits! Have some pics of my madness:

Adding the carcass!

Sandwich (duh :P)

Now what with all these 'amazing' cookery skills you'd think I was a very capable person, but not apparently according to the employers of London which means I must go on another job application rampage tomorrow (when I get bored of coursework! Oh what fun). Also my phone currently hates me and my alarm  keeps going weird as if I needed something else to mess with my life! However, what keeps me going through job applications and the lethargy of coursework is the thought of the beautiful things I could buy if I had a job (though they practically keep me awake at night too they're so awesome <3 XD). Here's a selection of things I'm currently desiring:

I just spotted these mono colour Docs on the official site :3
They look awesome in white but there's a cute pink too
I also discovered this http://store.drmartens.co.uk/t-bespokedetails.aspx Oh Docs? Why can't you offer a bespoke service when I am rich??? (never) Though maybe if I get famous I could convince them to sort me some anyway. Plan for life: get rich and famous!

Irregular Choice Flick Flack- they come in a few different colour ways currently (I think this is my favourite)
But there are also a lot of the previous seasons' colours and patterns that you can often find online (I particularly love red and gold starry sequinned ones!! Awesome!

I keep seeing creepers everywhere lately, I know they're an old thing but I haven't thought about them much before, I love these Neon ones- they're started selling them in ♥Cyberdog♥ now too! But they're at least £55 depending where you look!

I swear I looked to see if rainbow jeans existed somewhere before Christmas/my birthday and then I discover these beauties... of course when all christmas/birthday money is gone and they're £48 :/ Rainbow angels please, please, please??? From motel rocks which features a strange selection of items!

From Boohoo, I've seen similar skirts elsewhere including H & M, they also have leggings like this in Boohoo which look awesome and I saw some in Camden! Loving the monochrome (combined with brights ofc :P)

Pineapple print jeans!!! From last summer at River Island but I am determined to find these on Ebay at some point in my life... I saw the shorts version but tooo expensive!

Gorgeous little Hell Bunny number- keep seeing this when I'm browsing... need to find on ebay... could well find in a shop though I don't think it's a current pattern anymore... Rainbows ^_^ and unicorns... defo need some more purple/lilac tights!
Such cute denim hotpants from Topshop... they look much more Neon in real life! And Topshop denim is lovely <3

Warrior dress from ♥Cyberdog♥ argh they have this in several pretty colours... I like this sparkly one which is of course the most expensive :/

Booty shorts <3 Now originally I was absolutely certain that I wanted Fluo tartan ones (to start with anyway) But now they've brought them out in gorgeous Fluo yellow and pink in the most gorgeously gorgeous, sexy amazing, magical, divine, delicious, material known to man... honestly when I felt those babies I knew I was absolutely and completely doomed one way or another... And that's thanks to a casual Camden stroll the other day with my lovely Milly-Moo :D

Pink ^_^

Yellow ♥♥♥ I think I want these the most now, they're perfect... Neon shopping fairies? Ah well...one day...  (Just keep applying [to jobs], just keep applying, just keep applying, applying, applying... Oh I do love Dory and ♥Cyberdog♥)

www.cyberdog.net for all your neon pretties ^_^ (as if you didn't know :P <3)

Today is a day for Neon love my dears... May I ever sparkle and shine in sunlight and UV alike ♥

Over and Out ^_^
(Sorry was that lonnngggg?? :O)

UPDATE: How could I forget to add my desire for some lovely iron fist shoes?? I also want to pillage new look for tights they've got some lovelies atm... anyways... THESE:

http://www.schuh.co.uk/womens-black-and-pink-iron-fist-posey-lace-up-pf-skulls/1156269370 These are a little bit more my usual but still with an Iron Fist kinda edge... I do want the really stilleto ones though... they did some awesome ones in the past... pray for an ebay miracle maybe? XD

Over and Out for real this time :P xx

The Roast

So I thought I'd update with a pic of my amazing chicken and accompanying veg which I'm unhealthily proud of (well, the chicken anyway)... I'm sure other people will be just as excited about this as me... :P

Le Chicken of Awesome (The remainder of which will be converted to sandwiches, soup and probably tomorrows dinner, can't wait for my chicken soup adventure!)

Le Dinner... looks mental but tasted pretty good though I always seem to manage to create lumpy gravy :/ and I'm sure I can definitely see in the dark* now! Also I feel like it needs some green veg in there... but I was good and used up the cauliflower rather than starting on the broccoli ^_^ Go me :P

So now you've been updated on my amazing dinner skills (Oh man aren't I cool?) I shall say thank you and good night- be prepared for updates of my mad soup skills ;)
Much Loves!
xxxx

*Disclaimer: yeah I know carrots don't actually help you see in the dark but rather contain vitamins that are essential to good vision (haven't been much good to me despite my love for them :P) and these vitamins are also contained in many other fruits and vegetables :D

The Ideal Woman

So a little while back my mother got some free tickets to the Ideal Home Show at Earl's Court Exhibition Centre in my lovely Londinium, and that's where we headed off to yesterday (seemed like quite an appropriate outing so close to Mother's day and as I didn't get to see her on the day being at uni and stuff it was sort of for that purpose too). We went once before when I was somewhere between ten and twelve I'm guessing, this being where I tried my first expresso (bleurgh) and I'm still not a fan of coffee though I don't claim to blame the Ideal Home exhibition for this. Getting back to topic, it's basically, for those who aren't already aware, a collection of stalls and showrooms etc. based around the idea of home improvement (Obviously organised/endorsed by the Magazine 'Ideal Home') there was also a pretty big 'Ideal Woman' section which was predominantly jewellery and beauty with some clothing stalls. It was a pretty female environment, with a lot of older women (though of course it was a weekday) but not so much in comparison to the 'Stitch and Craft' show we visited at Olympia last year. I think we probably spent the most time in the 'Ideal shopping' and 'Ideal Woman' areas with a fair bit in the food and garden sections though the garden section seemed to be mostly expensive pods and hot tubs which were a little out the average persons price range (totally wanted to jump in a hot tub big time!!). Foods wise we had a mega tasty, though rather expensive carvery ham sandwich!

Overall, I really enjoyed the show, there were some appropriately crafty bits and bobs and lots of stuff to look at, we particularly enjoyed looking round the arts and crafts show house which definitely suited mine and my mum's taste though perhaps we thought the colours a little too earthy. I would definitely recommend it as a good day out, particularly with your mum, as there a big variety of things to see and the opportunity for a few freebies and competition entries... there seemed to be lots of stalls with nail art and hair extensions if that's your sort of thing! I couldn't be bothered as my nails were already painted!

Anyway being at the show and generally talking to my mum got me thinking about a few things namely: going to London Comic Con in May (which I had previously discussed with a friend), possibly caving and finally getting my ears pierced (Still not sure about this because I don't like to be like everyone else! I think I would have to get some mighty crazy earrings and maybe some more holes in my ear so I could mix it up a bit more to satisfy my individuality! And I don't want to say goodbye to my retro clips :(), making jewellery and other craft items over the Easter break/summer and just because of the other creative stuff have been thinking a little about cracking on with my a short story idea, once coursework and exams are out the way that is :)

However, JEWELLERY (and other craft stuff) this is the topic I actually want to ramble on about for a bit... I already have a few types that I enjoy doing I have lots of ideas for new colours and other things I want to try. Currently I've mostly made safety pin bracelets, button bracelets and memory wire bracelets/rings (these sort of coil round the wrist with a stretchy wire) though I've also done various random beaded bracelets etc. Basically I want to continue in these areas with different colour combos including using coloured safety pins, as I made a bracelet with some blue safety pins I just happened to have and it cam out looking pretty epic with tiny multicoloured seed beads! I've also seen things using scrabble letters and other game pieces for jewellery and I would hope to pick up these things pretty cheaply second hand.... I'd like to add a twist by adding colours/glitter to the pieces but we shall see! I actually can't wait to have a little crafting adventure! I'm also considering embellishing some clothing with random sequins/beads and creating some really cute and unique designs (as much one-offs as they can be) and both me and my mum are wanting to create some more furniture/random objects covered in decorative paper or fabrics (I currently have an amazing stool!).

A stack of Memory Wire Rings

A Selection of Button Bracelets (Flat style)

A Really Random Selection of Memory Wire Bracelets

My Decoupage Stool (Made by me with advice from my Mummy :D)

Oh, and get this! Yeah get this! I bought a whole chicken! So tomorrow I'm going to make a roast (and use the rest of the chicken for something else) when I remember to get gravy XD When it's £3 for a whole chicken and about the same for two breasts you might as well!! I can have sandwiches, chicken soup the whole thing! :D What with all these crafting ideas and cooking and ideal home shows and the like I really am feeling then housewife-ness and you know what? It's actually not so bad... ;)

Sharing this adorable pig, just because it's adorable... thank you 9gag :)
http://9gag.com/gag/3384123

Since being introduced to it months ago I have discovered that 9gag has a collection of the most funny and terribly appropriate stuff from around the world (possibly the universe), though there are a lot of things I don't understand... Hence a desire to continue my Nerducation... when I have money to buy more books, films and probably an Xbox and if I ever manage to understand anything about computers (Unlikely). No to be fair, it's not all nerd stuff mostly it's general life truths... we're all mad in our own way <3

Have some nargles (Warning Pot(ter)head present)

I think this was me recommending 9gag? For all your procrastination needs ;) This blog seems to be working too!

This makes little sense but Hello!

Lately life seems anything but simple, yet some days worryingly ordinary, mundane even. So I'm starting a blog, not sure why but it's somewhere to write and something to do... time will tell if I'll keep it up and what I'll do with this. Right now I'm using it to procrastinate a little bit but I'll get back to the coursework...

Anyway, hello, I'm Becca, I'm colourful, love animals, love clothes, love books, love television. I might use this as a platform to show you my pretty clothes, to write a little, show you cute things, not sure yet. But mostly it's a way to make an order out of the chaos (and to see that you just have to look inside my wardrobe), I try and tell this what I've done this week- here's where I went, what I watched, what I completed... and perhaps it'll help me remember too. Sometimes I get awfully muddled!

And to Moo the Evil Boffin (who I'm going to make read this first) I would like to warn you about the pixies... you know how they are... won't leave my unicorn be ;)

And here's a pic of my evening reading... riveting stuff... lol
